We have successfully delivered additional stores as part of the nationwide refresh programme for our client, Frasers Group. This project is scheduled to continue through the rest of 2026 and into early 2027. Works have now been completed at a further 10 stores across Staffordshire and Shropshire.

We have successfully delivered a full decoration package for our client Wynne Construction at Wrexham University. The project covered the reception, main atrium, 10 classrooms, mixed-use social spaces, café, corridors and toilet facilities. These newly finished areas will support specialised police forensics training, providing students and law enforcement professionals with hands-on crime scene investigation skills, evidence analysis expertise and a strong understanding of modern forensic science techniques.

We have successfully completed internal decoration works for our client Magna Projects at the NEC in Birmingham. The project covered the reception area, two large warehouses, retail spaces, back-of-house offices, kitchens and toilet facilities. The NEC is the UK’s largest exhibition venue, hosting major trade shows, concerts and events throughout the year.

We have completed the decoration package for our client Oktra at Forresters head office in Birmingham. The scope of work included the office areas, communal areas, kitchen and toilets. Forresters is a premier intellectual property firm established in 1884, specialising in protecting patents, trademarks and designs.

We have completed the External Decoration for our client Cats Protection at their store in Llandudno. The scope of work included all previously decorated surfaces on two elevations at this corner retail until. Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity, dedicated to improving the lives of cats through rescue, rehoming, and education.

We have completed the Internal Decoration for our client Stoke on Trent Council at their One Smithfield building. The scope of work included the main reception, first floor offices, communal areas, lobbies, kitchen and toilets. Stoke-on-Trent City Council is dedicated to transforming the city and improving the lives of its residents by focusing on key priorities like health, wealth, safety, a cleaner environment and providing opportunities for skills and education.

We have completed the External Decoration at the Albert’s Schloss in Manchester for our client Mission Mars. We primed, undercoated and glossed all woodwork and applied metal paint to rainwater goods. Our IPAF qualified staff used a Cherry Picker to safely access the high level areas.

We have completed the Internal Decoration to the reception, stairwells and lobbies for our new client GivEnergy at their Osprey House office in Newcastle Under Lyme. Our PASMA qualified staff used a mobile stair scaffold tower to safely access the high level areas. The project was completed at night to eliminate disruption for the office staff.

We have completed Painting & Decorating for our client Thistley Hough Academy in Stoke on Trent. The scope of work included the entrance, toilet lobbies, toilets, corridors and meeting rooms. School decoration is important because it significantly impacts student engagement, well-being and ultimately learning outcomes.

We have completed Internal Decoration for our client Everlast Gyms at their gym in Tunstall. The scope of work included the ceiling in the male showers. The project was completed at night to eliminate disruption to the customer experience.

The scope of work included ground and first floor office areas, corridors, toilets, store rooms and communal areas. We applied Crown clean extreme scrubbable matt to walls and satinwood eggshell to woodwork.

We have completed the Internal Decoration at Ruskin High Community School in Crewe for our client Read Construction. The scope of work included the studio, corridors and plant room. Ruskin Community High School is a coeducational comprehensive secondary school in for pupils aged 11 to 16 years.

We have completed the Internal Decoration at the Station Restaurant & Bar in Doncaster for our client WHB Construction. The scope of work included the restaurant and bar areas and toilets.

The scope of work included the restaurant area, communal areas, toilets and back of house. Painting & Decorating is important as a restaurant’s decor can help customers perceive the brand, the level of service and whether they’ll return.

We have completed the Internal Decoration at the Seven Stars in Stafford for our client Parogon Group. The scope of work included the bar area, communal areas, kitchen and toilets. Parogon Group is an independent restaurant group that operates gastropubs in Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire.

We have completed the Decoration package at this Retirement Living premises for our new client McCarthy Stone. The scope of works included the bedrooms, corridors, staircases and communal areas including the installation of new wallpaper coverings. We have completed the Decoration to the inside and outside of the shop front in Derby for our client Cats Protection. A well designed and decorated shop front can make a good first impression and entice passers by to enter the store. Cats Protection is the UK’s largest feline welfare charity, helping an average of 157,000 cats and kittens every year.

JD Wetherspoon, The Gateway, Painting & Decorating We have completed the Internal Decoration at The Gateway in the Manchester for our client JD Wetherspoon. The scope of work included the bar area and communal areas. Pub decoration is important as it makes a pub feel warm and welcoming, encouraging customers to stay longer.

We’ve completed the Internal Decoration for our client Sports Direct at their store in Birmingham. We sent a team of decorators to complete the project at this large flagship store in the short timescales as requested by the client.

We completed Internal Decoration for our client Lookers at their Mini Car Showroom in Crewe.

We applied Johnstone’s Durable Matt to the walls. It is easier to clean than conventional emulsions thanks to its hard, non-yellowing, smooth finish, which makes it ideal for high traffic areas.

We completed the External Decoration at this car showroom for our client Arnold Clark at our local branch in Stoke on Trent.

Our PASMA trained staff used a mobile scaffold tower to safely access the high level areas.

We used Johnstone’s Steel & Cladding Paint which is a silicone alkyd based semi-gloss finish that is specially formulated to provide long lasting protection against corrosion on metal substrates and to endure the rigours of exterior exposure.

We completed the Internal & External Decoration for our client Sigma at the Mark’s & Spencer store in Leeds.

The project was completed in the 3 week program allowed to ensure that the store could re-open on time.

The materials were supplied by our partner Dulux Paints.

We completed the Internal Decoration at Spode Gaming Hub in Stoke on Trent for our client M2 Construction.

We’ve completed our first job for new client Lister Carter Homes at their site in Stretton. This newly constructed oak frame garage received 2 coats of wood stain to the frames and panelling. We look forward to working for our new client in the future!

We completed the Internal Painting & Decorating of the Bluebell Suite for our client Hydes Brewery in Stockport. Our PASMA trained staff used a Mobile Scaffold Tower to safely access the high level areas. The materials and equipment were supplied by our partners Johnstone’s Paint & HSS Hire. With all the character of a great pub, the Joshua Bradley has been created within a beautiful restored mansion house in the most captivating of settings. They provide the very best of food and drink.

We applied pliolite masonry to the blockwork and walls, metal paint applied to the steels and 2 part expoxy floor paint to the floor. Our decorators have a wealth of knowledge using traditional and modern methods of decoration enabling us to deliver a varied portfolio of projects across all industry sectors.

Care Home, North Wales, Refurbishment We recently completed a comprehensive refurbishment project at a care home in North Wales, converting a newly acquired property into a fully functional care facility.

We have completed the Refurbishment to the ladies toilets for our client Eurocell at their Fairbrook House head office in Alfreton.

The scope of work included:

✅ Installation of Polysafe safety vinyl flooring with cap and cove finish

Staff toilet refurbishment is crucial for maintaining high hygiene standards, reducing disease spread through modern touchless fixtures and lowering maintenance costs. We recently completed a refurbishment project for our client, Mencap, at their care home in Liverpool. The works included a range of internal and external improvements designed to enhance the property’s condition, accessibility and overall functionality. Key elements of the project included gutter and downpipe repairs, clearing and jetting all gutters to ensure proper drainage and replacing damaged roof tiles. The roof was also professionally cleaned to remove moss and algae, alongside repointing works to restore the building’s exterior. Additional improvements included external timber replacements, installation of new external doors, CCTV drainage surveys with drainage unblocking and the installation of a new external access ramp. Groundworks were also carried out, including lifting paving stones, repairing the ground beneath and relaying the paving. A new decking area was installed, and the property received full external redecoration. Internally, a new wet room was installed to improve accessibility for residents.

The canteen works included the removal and replacement of their staff kitchen, vinyl floor installation and decoration. The toilet works included the removal and replacement of the men’s and disabled toilets and sink, vinyl floor installation and decoration.

Action for Children, Refurbishment, Kilburn We have completed this 16 week Refurbishment Project for our new client Action for Children at their premises in Kilburn. We have started this Refurbishment project for our new client Bridgenorth Tyres in Wolverhampton. We will be on site for 6 weeks to complete the project!

As part of Wallace Contract’s ongoing endeavours towards an inclusive and disabled-friendly living space, five bungalows were converted into 2-bed units, each providing care and including adaptions for mobility needs. This project was more than a refurbishing as it sought to ensure that everyone who lives in the building is able to feel comfortable, safe, and accommodated.

We have completed the Refurbishment to the toilet and welfare areas for our client Ibstock Brick at their site in Stoke on Trent.

We completed the Refurbishment of the ladies toilets for our client Douglas MacMillan at their Hospice in Stoke on Trent. The project firstly included removal of existing plumbing, cubicles, vanity units, privacy wall and wall tiles. Once complete we installed new cubicles, vanity panels and toilets. We installed new flooring and half height tiles and finished off with decorations.

We also refurbished the adjacent sluice room which included rip out, installation of white rock, installation of base units, worktops and shelving finished off with new flooring and decorations. We installed new office partitions.

The materials were supplied by our partners Howdens Joinery, Wolseley Plumb Centre, SIG, Likewise Flooring & Johnstone’s Paints.

The objective of this phase is to create additional bedroom capacity by converting the existing toilets into 3 bedrooms and converting the existing staff room and hairdresser into 2 bedrooms, with new staff room and hairdresser relocated elsewhere.

The scope of works included clearing all gutters of debris and vegetation, along with carrying out necessary repairs to ensure effective rainwater flow. Our IPAF-qualified team safely accessed high-level areas using a cherry picker.

The work in progress photos below highlight the incredible transformation achieved through our high-quality cleaning process — the carpets now look as good as new! We have completed Floor Repairs for our client Caravan & Camping Club at their Conkers campsite in Swadlincote. We ripped up the existing vinyl from site and de-commissioned and the sanitary ware. We replaced the defective joists and floor boards before supplying and installing new altro safety flooring, cap and cove and welds.

We have completed the Repairs & Decoration to the store front for our client Cats Protection at their store in Leominster. Our joiners carried out timber splice repairs before our decorators spot primed, undercoated and glossed all areas. A store’s front decoration is important because it’s the first thing potential customers see, and it can influence their decision to enter the store.

We were contracted by our client Camping & Caravanning Club to undertake repairs to camping pitches that needed attention. 15 pitches were re-edged with new concrete pin kerbs and 10 pitches were re-dressed with new stones.
